This bride of mine was just a doll! She is the most genuinely sweet yet absolutely beautiful person inside and out and I deeply wish her all the best in life . . . it was truly my honor to be part of her wedding :) We met during her trial makeup session and on her wedding day she revealed to me that her trial makeup actually stayed put till the next day for her bridal shower and she shared this picture with me! This is just amazing!! Her wedding venue was at Twisted Ranch was 50 miles north of Austin and a tiny little town on itself own. All the details were meticulously decorated and was truly magical . . I could sped half a day exploring this wonderful place :)
This wedding by far was one of the most casual and fun I have ever been to, add that to the apical Pi Day and it was everything you could ask for in one day! The venue itself in reality is a movie set located at 15000 Hamilton Pool Rd, Bee Cave, TX 78738 there is absolutely no words to describe how unique this location is . . Here are some of the behind the scenes of my day at this wondeful day. It's been a month that I am attending the training as part of the makeup team for the Austin Fashion Week starting next month in April 15-18th, 2015 with wonderful ever so talented Kandy Glass from FaceKandy Makeup. Each class we get a chance to focus on different area of the face and not only learn a new technique but to experiment. One of my all time favorite look that I did was on my fellow makeup artist beautiful doll face Jennifer Amacker. The only thing that saddens me is that I didn't get enough time to finish the look, specially the eyes . . since I was on a time crunch imposed on our team to replicate the stressful behind the scene madness of the runway *sigh* only if time was never an issue when it comes to this art form! Other than that I manages to emulate my take on the crazy checks, though the iPhone didn't seem to pick much of it at all . . but trust me it was there! A always the product of choice was the amazing Jane Iredale makeup line . . . I'm falling in love with every piece of these products . . They are ever so soft and velvety to the touch and very easy to work with :) For this shoot I had the privilege of working with two amazing photographers, two makeup artists and one hair stylist and four models, our crew was around 10 to 12 people in size . . I fell in love with the final product of our hard work immediately . . it's such gratifying feeling working along side talented indiviuals and I would do it all over again in a drop of a hat again and all over again :)
This was such a fun shoot specially when working with the beads turned out much more challenging than we had anticipated . . our team United all for one and displayed the most efficient team work I have ever seen to this day!! Good job team! I had the privilege of working with Rickey Anthony Talent Agency's models on their portfolio shoots.
Such amazing and professional crew and beautiful models inside and out made the time fly by and before I knew it it was time to wrap up the session . . Here are some pictures of the behind the scene ^^ |
