 The whole experience boiled down to three night of performances back to back for two dance segments each about 5 to 7 minutes long that took over 5 months (including the entire summer) of weekly preparation. Final look of the stage from behind the curtains     Round 2  Let's Do This!  Can you spot me?     The opportunity to be part of such grand production has defiantly been a turning point in my life. Not only did I experience dancing on the stage of 2,400 seat venue at the Long Center, but it also paved the road into the makeup realm for me.   As dancers one of the many challenging part of the preparations before stepping on the stage is the makeup! Having to spend hours of rehearsal time until the very last moments before the performance night, with tired feet that are screaming out of exhaustion and the overflowing anxiety, rapid heart beats and flying butterflies in every inch of your skin, the last thing you need is standing in front of the mirror with your makeup pouch confused as where to start first! As part of the dance crew the professional makeup team are reserved for the main cast and dancers are left to their own accord with couple hints on the overall image from the makeup team and bare minimum last minute quick tutorial video. Usually whoever finishes first and receives the majorities' approval gets into the business of helping the fellow dancers.   This is how it all started for me . . .
