This year for the first time we have our holiday photos taken, a lovely customer of us that does photography for hobby took these lovely photos of us and allowed me to edit the raws. I absolutely love how these photos turned out.
This fall and winter season has been extremely busy for us, we have traveled to Dallas, Houston and San Antonio for photoshoots this season. It is so refreshing to experience setting up a photo session in a new city against a new backdrop and also explore the food scene after work in the area.
One of my favorite outings in fall is visiting a farm, there are many farms here in Texas that set up fall festival events with pumpkin patch, corn maze and family activities food and games. This was Josh's first time joining me. The farm usually has designated a flower farm at the entrance of the farm and most years in my experience it has been sunflower farm but this year there were wild natural flowers to Texas instead and it was full of butterflies flying around.
Josh wanted to test his medium format film camera so he offered to take some photos of me. I asked if he could take some new concept photos for my website and he agreed. Here is a sample of what he took and I think they turned out so lovely. For reference he shot these images on Mamiya RB67 with Kodak Gold 200 Film + Pentax 645n with Portra 400 Film. For the lab he used https://www.lagovistafilmlab.com Let it be known I am eyeing Fujifilm Fuji GFX 50S II digital medium format at the moment and apparently they can be used with the adaptor to covert GFX to EF canon lenses which I own plenty.
