Handmade Doll

This has been a fantastic year for my doll making skills, having a boyfriend with two young nieces pushed me to create more of what I used to once just dream of making and saving inspiration images on a Pinterest board.  For this project I only used felt fabric - oh let me tell you how easy it is to work with felt, it is thick and doesn't fray like regular fabric and somewhat does what you tell it to do! I absolutely enjoyed this project . . took me two days to hand-stitch this doll.  I picked up a model doll from the Dollar Store, ripped the stitch and used it as a pattern to create the doll of my own. I made some changes to the pattern by adding the neck and modifying the hair style.
