Josh's Film camera had some issue with, the pictures were not coming out sharp enough . . so when we took it to get checked in we realized it was the lens that was damaged. Since the camera has a fixed lens there is no way to repair it. So sad!
Since I got the new pyrex I find myself ready to try out different recipes! This time I tried French toast: I cut the left over bread slices in the cubes and poured a mixed of eggs and milk over them then added some cheese on top and baked in at the oven.
This weekend I worked on two wedding activities! I shot a beautiful wedding on Saturday at Sage Hall in Texas old Town of Kyle. I met the bride and the groom the day before on Friday at the venue as they were living outside of Texas and planned the wedding from distance and the day after we shot the wedding.
On Sunday I did hair and makeup for a bridal trial session and then shot a bridal portrait session right after of another beautiful bride. I then edited her bridal images fairly quickly as she needed them to be printed out for the preparations fo her wedding. So after the jobs were done and completed I awarded myself on both days with wings! I ate the same meal two days in a row and let me tell you, it was a pure meaning of happiness!!!!
Three weeks later when I met her for her actual wedding makeup, she introduced me this product by CLARINS called Base Comblante it was pretty much a makeup base and it worked really well with her dry skin type, we both really liked how it smoothed the skin before putting the makeup and the results turned out lovely. It's a great tip for those who are looking for a makeup primer for dry skin.
We have started this lovely tradition of taking ourselves out to a nice dinner on Valentines day. I love all the thoughts and planning the restaurant's Chefs put into creating special menus for Valentine's Day, so I enjoy the experience as well as supporting local businesses in this way.
OMG this was the worse hair mask, I had to take two showers to get this product out of my hair and it was still feeling oily! Also it didn't really moisturize my hair that much at the end, it felt super chemical if anything . . note myself to stay away!
I made my first Lasagna in this house with chicken and spinach . . I honestly don't know why it took me so long to make one! Maybe because I am actively try to not eat heavy carb food or that I didn't have the right size of Pyrex so I finally remember to get one hehehe
I had lunch with my friend Jessie in Sour Duck and then I went thrifting, my favorite was this 80s style Dress that I am planning to upgrade very soon. I also bought a dress for a wedding we are planning to go on April, that doesn't require much work, except that it is strapless so I might add a pair of strap for safety measures hehehe.
We woke up to a beautiful rainy day, we had the leftover chilies for dinner and grilled cheese sandwiches. Also signed up for the gym, their new year special was ending that day. Then we headed out to San Antonio to drop off the dog for her dental appointments. We had Sonic for lunch and then met a friend at Indy Coffee, the barista was wearing really cute polymer clay earrings and she gave me the address to the store that she bought it from, which sadly was closed on Sundays. Then we had dinner with the family and watched Toy Story 4 with the kids. On our way we got some bubble teas before heading back to Austin and I found a new favorite Aloe Vera with Lychee Juice it was very refreshing.
I really enjoyed today's photowalk, it was definitely my favorite as of yet. We had gone to a few that we didn't really care about, so finally Josh set up his own invited couple of his friends who were into film photography . . It was funny how many cameras we all ended up bringing with us, we counted it was 14 cameras between 6 people. I hope we get to continue with it and make beautiful photographs :)
Lately I have started to drink warm lemon juice in the morning, I've heard so many good health benefits. Since I didn't have any plans in the morning I got to make a warm breakfast and later went to a makeup job. I am starting to also be more prepared and intentional with my food choices, so I packed some chillies toped with avocado and cheese for lunch before I went to get some shopping done. For dinner we went to a Beer Garden for some food and drinks and they had retro night disco style party, it was really fun to watch and I had Bratwurst and Mexican corn. We headed home early because we had a 7:00am Photowalk session with some photographers the next morning.
