Dancers Performing in Central Market for Persian New Year Festival

I was honored to do the makeup for all the dancers of the Ravaan Classical dance company for their Noruz Persian New Year Festival on March 22, 2014 which was held in North Lamar Central Market in Austin, Texas.

We met at around 3:00pm in one of the offices on the second floor of the central market building and after two hours of hardwork the girls performed in two different costumes to a regional and two classical numbers.

After their public performance, we packed up as soon as we could and headed out to Crowne Plaza Hotel for another set of performances which included them backup dancing to a pop song of one of popular Iranian singers "Sandy" who performed live at the event.
