There are some sessions that feel more like documenting a story than simply taking photographs, and this western-inspired gathering was one of them, I'd consider it a lifestyle events photography.
A group of longtime friends rented a beautiful cowboy-themed estate in Austin, Texas to spend the weekend together. The home was filled with handcrafted cowboy boots, vintage hats, turquoise jewelry, western décor, and cozy spaces that made every corner feel like part of the experience. Rather than focusing on posed portraits, my goal was to capture the feeling of the laughters, conversations, champagne toasts, details, and genuine moments of friendship that unfolded naturally throughout the day. One of my favorite things about lifestyle photography is that every object helps tell the story. From rows of cowboy boots lining the walls to turquoise jewelry waiting to be worn, every detail added personality to the images. These little touches become part of the memories years later. The women coordinated colorful dresses with western boots and hats, creating a fun mix of elegance and Texas charm. One thing I always encourage during group sessions is to slow down and enjoy the experience. The best photographs often happen between poses, when someone bursts into laughter, shares a story, or simply enjoys being surrounded by friends. These are the moments that become meaningful over time. Whether you're planning a girls' weekend, family reunion, birthday celebration, bridal getaway, bachelorette weekend, or a vacation with friends, documenting your time together creates memories that last far beyond the event itself. As a portrait and lifestyle photographer here in Austin Texas. I love creating images that feel genuine, timeless, and full of personality. My approach is relaxed and natural, allowing everyone to enjoy the moment while I preserve it through photographs. If you're planning a celebration in Austin or the Texas Hill Country and would love your story documented, I'd be honored to photograph your gathering.

When Sushma the bride reached out to me and shared her vision for her bachelorette party I was immediately excited and counting down to the photoshoot day. The event was at this beautiful airbnb in lake way area of Austin and The Picnic Crew (https://www.thepicniccrew.com) set up this gorgeous picnic set up in the garden where the girls enjoyed brunch and making memories.
