Victoria and her six month old baby Noah reached out to me to take their Christmas card photo, we showed up for a sunrise session at Circle C park, the weather was around 40 degrees and despite it being cold Noah never cried or showed any discomfort which was such a relief. Victoria has recently moved to Austin from Los Angeles California and this is her first winter in Austin. She is a working single mom at the same time she is a student working on her career, She is definitely a perfect role model for handling a young baby, a job and studying all at the same time by herself. It is only a matter of time for Noah to grow up and for Victoria to have her career path set in front of her, I hope these photos are a beautiful reminder for them that they made it through this phase of their lives together.
This was the most emotional portrait session I have ever taken, A week before, the owners of Copper found out he was diagnosed with cancer and they asked to schedule this portrait session before they had to say goodbye to him. They were in the middle of moving and we drove to Georgetown to their family house to take these portrait session. Copper was the kindest sweetest dog, despite he was blind and probably in a lot of pain he cooperated amazingly this shoot and listened to all of my cues. I cannot imagine how much his family is missing him right now, I can only hope these photos can bring some sort of memory of Copper's last days to help heal their hearts.
I met Dawn during a photoshoot were her beautiful baby girl was a model. Dawn has such a lovely personality with beautiful energy, she and her husband have their own chicken coop in the backyard and 2 sweet dogs - we shot these photos as we were testing and setting up for the other shoot, I think they turned out lovely.
It has been a while since the last time I got to photograph an infant! Nathan is probably about 3 to 4 months now and every time I see him he is growing up more. What I am looking forward next to photograph is a maternity shoot, because it has definitely been quite a while since the last one, and I really enjoy photographing those as well.
